Director of Marketing & Public Relations, Henry County Medical Center
Tory Daughrity has worked in healthcare marketing for almost 20 years and is currently the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Henry County Medical Center, where she has served for 13 years. Since 2008, Daughrity’s roles have increased from developing marketing strategies for the hospital and specific service lines to new entities such as the Diagnostic Center, Surgery Center, and seven provider practices.
Prior to coming to Paris, she was the Executive Director of the Calloway County Chapter of the American Red Cross and was a Planning and Marketing Specialist/Physician Liaison for Murray-Calloway County Hospital. Daughrity has been active with healthcare marketing societies, serving on the board of the Tennessee Society for Marketing and Public Relations as well as on various committees with SHSMD. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Henry County Health Council and is on the HCMC Women’s Health Advisory Council.
She is very active in the community, serving as both President of the Paris Rotary Club and Vice President of Tourism of the Paris and Henry County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She also serves on the Carl Perkins Center-Exchange Club Board as Secretary. She currently is Assistant District Governor for Rotary Club.
Daughrity has received several awards and recognitions including a Top Healthcare Marketer of the Year by Hospital Marketing National, the TSHMPR President’s Award, TSHMPR Lamar Jackson Distinguished Service Award, and Henry County Medical Center Department Director of the Year in 2009 and 2016. In 2018, she was recognized as the Paris and Henry County Chamber Board Member of the Year. She is also a Paul Harris Fellow in the Paris Rotary Club.
She attended Murray State University earning her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Music Performance and Public Relations. Additionally, she obtained her Masters of Science in Mass Communication at Murray State University.
