In 1994, Anthony or Tony as he is mostly known, started his agency with a clear goal in mind: to begin a different kind of advertising and marketing agency. One that focused on an ROI–based strategies. And that line of thought is still apparent in the agency today. Tony’s understanding of media and business are the driving force behind the agency’s philosophy: creating communications that work for their clients.
In 2007, Tony saw the need for the agency to pivot and evolve into the fast-paced digital marketing space, as AB&A began to grow the agency’s digital marketing business. AB&A’s digital focus is firmly planted on lower funnel tactics that drive sales, while understanding the need for the mid and upper funnel marketing touches that enhance those conversions. “It is that balance that yields optimum results for our clients”, insists Tony.
Today, nearly 30 years later, AB&A is a fully integrated traditional and digital agency, servicing clients in the healthcare, insurance, automotive, retail, education and other industries. “Our business is about driving results for clients and way too many marketing people forget that. It’s all about ROI and making campaigns as formulaic as possible, to achieve the desired result”, says Tony.
A recipient of many ADDY and Healthcare Marketing awards, Tony has also Chaired numerous boards in the Greater Miami area over the years, including the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Advertising Federation of Greater Miami and YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and YPO Gold Miami/ Ft. Lauderdale, where he is the current Chapter Chair.
The agency does considerable amounts of pro bono work, as a way to give back to the community that has been so instrumental in their success.
