The 2008 Listing of Top 25 DTC Marketers 

DTC Perspectives, the leading publication for consumer marketers in the pharmaceutical industry, has named its seventh annual list of “The Top 25 DTC Marketers of the Year.”  


The 2008 list includes marketers from pharma, biotech and device manufacturers, with Eli Lilly,GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi-Aventis & Pfizer among the companies with multiple Top 25 selections (see complete list at the bottom). Overall, marketers representing 17 companies have been awarded the prestigious DTC Perspectives' Top 25 honor.

“These elite pharmaceutical marketing professionals are this year's top contributors to the advancement of patient outcomes via direct-to-consumer (DTC) pharmaceutical education and marketing,” said DTC chairman Robert Ehrlich. This year's Top 25 members were selected after an industry-wide nomination and screening process.

The 2008 award recipients will be honored at a special luncheon co-sponsored by PARADE Magazine during the
DTC National Conference, April 16 - 18 at the J.W. Marriott in Washington, D.C. Select honorees also will participate in a panel discussion on current DTC marketing issues in the DTC National general session, preceding the awards luncheon.

Pharmaceutical companies, their agencies and supplier partners were invited to submit nominations. The Top 25 List highlights a broad range of people with DTC responsibilities, including product managers, DTC specialists, media directors and specialists in relationship marketing efforts.
