Executive Director Global Marketing
Lisa Tollman is an Executive Director in Global Marketing at Amgen, working in Bone Health and on activating Customer Centricity. She is responsible for bringing to market a not yet approved Osteoporosis medication, delivering strategy and providing core guidance to regions. She also partners with teams across the globe to support product commercialization. A separate focus is on enabling Amgen to activate Customer Centricity, impacting how Amgen operates to deliver outcomes that matter to Customers.
Prior to joining Global Marketing, Lisa spent several years in the US Commercial Bone Health team, which included working on the launch of Prolia® and at different times leading the HCP focused promotions team and the Consumer team. Lisa has also led the Consumer teams in Amgen’s Cardiovascular business, as well as within Amgen’s Inflammation Business Unit. During that time she and her team revamped the brand’s Digital and Pharmacy approach, and delivered award-winning Disease Education Campaigns including offline and online elements. Lisa has broad and deep Consumer experience driving strategy and developing, deploying, measuring and optimizing tactics that pull-through strategy.
Before joining Amgen, Lisa spent several years in Consumer marketing within the Consumer-Packaged Goods and Technology industries at both start-up and well-established companies like General Mills and ConAgra Foods. Her “classic marketing” upbringing and aptitude is frequently cited as core to the insight she brings to the Biopharma arena. Earlier in her career, Lisa spent 7 years as a management consultant with Accenture – based in South Africa, and including projects in the UK and US – gaining broad business process and management experience in the retail, transportation and insurance industries.
Lisa earned her B.A. (Honors) in mathematics and economics from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in Cambridge, MA.
