Ira Haimowitz

Vice President, Product Strategy, Crossix

Ira Haimowitz is Vice President, Product Strategy, at Crossix. In this role, Ira helps accelerate new product innovation for Crossix’s range of patient-centered, data-driven marketing solutions. Ira also enhances client delivery as a subject matter expert, and provides thought leadership.

Ira brings 20 years of leadership and consulting expertise developing innovative analytics solutions for sales and marketing across industries. Before Crossix, Ira was Principal, Team Leader of New Product Development for Media at Information Resources (IRI), serving clients in consumer packaged goods and OTC healthcare. These solutions included media planning and optimization, cross-channel campaign measurement, forecasting, pricing analytics, and marketing mix analyses.

Before IRI, Ira led analytics teams at media and advertising agencies. At The CementBloc, Ira was EVP of Multichannel Operations and Analytics and led analytics, campaign operations, project management, and technology development. At Wunderman, Ira was VP, Group Director of Insights and Optimization. His clients across both agencies have included L’Oreal, Abbott, Nationwide Insurance, Novartis, Pfizer, and Bayer.

In addition, Ira has also spent 13 years on the manufacturer side, leading analytics teams at pharmaceutical companies Pfizer and Organon (now Merck), as well as General Electric Research and Development. In these roles Ira has supported large sales forces with targeting and tracking solutions, has deployed digital media and website analytics platforms, and analyzed consumer shopping patterns at major retailers.

Ira received his Ph.D. in Computer Science, as well as a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also has attained an M.Phil in Computer Speech and Language Processing from Cambridge University, on a Winston Churchill Foundation Scholarship. He is a frequent industry speaker and author, including the newly published book Healthcare Relationship Marketing by Gower Press. Ira has also served as President of the Pharmaceutical Management Science Association.

Ira lives in Bronx, NY with his wife Barbara and his three children, Nathan, Eva, and Deborah. He enjoys jogging, cycling, golf, and camping. On top of Ira’s reading list are history books and science fiction.
