David has spent his career working at the intersection of technology and social change. Following his wife’s diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer, he became a passionate advocate for patient empowerment and connected health. As chief strategy officer at WEGO Health, David identifies new ways to build value for life sciences companies through collaboration with patient KOLs and influencers. He is a Forbes contributor covering topics on crowdsourcing, influencer marketing, the gig economy and social media. He currently serves on the Cambia Grove advisory board, and has served as an advisor to Stanford University’s MedicineX and the SXSW Healthcare Accelerator. He is also a former Healthbox mentor.
