Jeff Hamill serves as Executive Vice President for Advertising Sales and Marketing for Hearst Magazines. In this capacity he oversees Hearst Integrated Media the Corporate Sales and Marketing arm of Hearst Magazines as well as Hearst Direct Sales and Corporate Research. Hearst Integrated Media manages group advertising sales efforts with the largest advertisers for all platforms of Hearst’s 21 monthly magazine titles. This includes contract negotiation and management as well as development of cross -title, cross-platform custom marketing solutions. HIM touches approximately 75% of the advertising revenue generated by Hearst Magazines.
Hamill joined Hearst in 1982 as a promotion assistant at Popular Mechanics and is a 1983 graduate of the Hearst advertising sales training program. He has held senior publishing positions at Redhook, Cosmopolitan, and Good Housekeeping.
He is a native of Durham, NC and a 1981 graduate of Washington & Lee University where he serves on both the Parent’s Council and the alumni board. He resides in Darien, CT with his wife Susan, their daughters Alex and Parker and son Hudson.
