Bruce Kallner, Senior Vice President of Strategic Sales and Marketing at NBC Universal Television Stations, has seen it all in his long, and varied, media career in which he has worked in virtually every entertainment medium.
As a graduate of the University of Florida, Bruce began as a local Television Sportscaster in Gainesville, Florida and Des Moines, Iowa. Bruce then joined the very first sales team at WFAN-AM, the first all-sports radio station in the country. Television rep experienced followed with 12 years at Katz Media concluding with oversight of Katz’s large market division. In 1999, as the internet was starting to flourish, Bruce was tapped to head up Southeast Sales for Yahoo!. In 2002 the NBC Owned Stations division hired Bruce to head up Olympic Sales for the Athens and Torino Games. In August 2007, Bruce created the NBC Impact Group and as Senior Vice President of this Strategic Marketing group, has generated over $300 million in new business.
