Brian Gartside is an insight driven marketer skilled at building brands that make a difference in patients’ lives with an outstanding track record of brand stewardship with major products. Brian has a diverse background including Direct-to-Consumer, Consumer Packaged Goods and Medical Marketing, delivering superior business results.
Brian has over 25 years of marketing experience with Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, GSK and now at Novo Nordisk. In 2015, he launched the highly effective “Big Bad Cough” disease state campaign with GSK to stimulate vaccination against Whooping Cough among Grandparents. The campaign delivered outstanding results, reversing several years of category declines and returning the Adult Whooping cough category to growth just 6 months from launch. The campaign has won an Rx Club Gold award and several DTC National awards. Brian is a recipient of the Top 25 DTC Marketers for 2016 from DTC Perspectives as well as a winner of the 2018 PM360 Magazine ELITE marketer award.
At Novo Nordisk, Brian launched the Tresiba® and Fiasp® Direct-to-Consumer campaigns and is looking forward to help educate diabetes patients on the importance of appropriate diabetes management.
